• Kelly, what attracted you to a coaching program with Repa?

  At the time, I was feeling a little lost in my career. I engaged Repa to essentially help me figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up!

• What exactly were your sticking points at that time?

  To be more specific, I yearned to be able to articulate the strengths that I bring to a role. Even to understand the different opportunities that would exist with my skills and experience, and discover from a career perspective what I wanted to do for the next 5 years. and how the next few roles will fit into that. I needed a professional perspective to help me uncover the type of work environment that would best enable me to thrive and be passionate.

• What did you take away from the experience?

  Working with Repa was ‘transformational’ at all levels; what I received from Repa was truly a life gift that has impacted all aspects of me as a person, and my ability to lead others.

  The practice of meditation and mindfulness that Repa brings to each session gave me the ability to really be ‘present’ in the work I was doing, find my true purpose, what I value most, and what inspires me each day. I was able to bring the benefits of this work home to change habits including being able to put the right boundaries in place.

• Why do you think Repa was able to help you penetrate those more hidden arts of you?

  I think it comes down to the fact that Repa knows what she is doing. Her extensive previous experience as an executive corporate leader allows her to understand and empathise with situations, and to provide a practical perspective.

  Her questions during the session are well thought out and thought provoking. I have had other executive coaches, but they really only touched the surface in comparison to the deeply moving experience I shared with Repa.

• Would you recommend Repa to your own colleagues?

  I could not recommend Repa highly enough for any executive looking for coaching. My only advice – be ready for a truly special gift that will take you to a new level in your personal and executive journey. But be prepared to be dedicated, confronted at times, and do the homework. Don’t be scared to come out of your journey understanding your authentic self at all levels.
